Ah Val, I know you know how it is. It’s a strange existence at times, and it’s managing the gravitas of one situation to the minutiae of another that is the perennial challenge! I know I’ve said it before but this is so familiar. Married to a frontline RAF helicopter crewman, I had such similar experiences. With a tiny boy who grew up into a wonderful man. Testament to the amazing mothers we are, you have wonderful young ladies too, because of their parents, because of their mum who is both mum and dad when she needs to be.
